My name is Casey and I grew up baking. In my family, baking is not just about providing a meal- it’s a way to show you care. I was raised by a strong group of women who knew how to cook and always welcomed a helping hand. My grandmother baked for our family every Sunday as well as any other occasion that she could. My granny would make cornbread for us each visit just to see a smile on our face. My aunts and my mother always involved us in each baking project that came their way. Not only did my skills grow over the years, but so did the relationships between us all. It is simple- in my book, baking equals love. There is something magical about eating something made especially for you. I was taught the importance of loving what you made and who it was going to.

In my kitchen, that is exactly what you will find. I pour all my love and energy into each thing I bake. Each recipe is tested by the cutest little chefs. They might have sweet chubby fingers and chocolate on their cheeks, but their eyes light up when mommy starts mixing. I hope that each of my bakes bring a little magic to your taste buds and you feel that it was made “with love”.
